They took time to listen to our vision and provided suggestions on the best ways to implement our renovation ideas. We used Elevations for our master bathroom remodel, and could not have been happier!! Brian was absolutely wonderful! He was extremely communicative, open and honest throughout the entire process. We have three small kids at home, so the timing of when different specialities (electrician, plumber, stone, etc) were coming in and out of our house was really important to me to try and coordinate with naps/kids schedules. When we bought our house, we knew immediately that something needed to be done with our family room. It was an odd shaped room that was in desperate need of a focal point. In addition, we needed to remediate a previous owner's poor attempt at whitewashing the brick fireplace. Luckily, a neighbor referred us to Brian at Elevations In Remodeling.

Marcin's woodwork and carpentry skills are exceptional. I was extremely impressed with his attention to detail, precise measurements and exact cuts. As a mathematics teacher, I was astonished that he was able to work magic and make an asymmetrical wall appear symmetrical. That took expert knowledge and experience to be able to manipulate measurements to make the built-ins look even.

Throughout the project, we were in constant communication with Elevations In Remodeling. It was very helpful to receive frequent visual prototypes to help us make informed decisions. During the process, we decided to change the design and scope of our project. Elevations In Remodeling was flexible and accommodating. They were able to create our dream family room with a gorgeous fireplace and built-ins that exceeded our expectations.

We renovated all three bathrooms in our home with Elevations In Remodeling and have nothing but great reviews. Brian and Marcin were amazing to work with. We had major issues with our cabinet delivery (separate company) and they had to come back out again once the new cabinets arrived and they were able to work us into the schedule to accommodate the new dates, worked all day, and picked up their tools when they left for the day. Marcin had great ideas to help us with trim options and I’m so happy with how everything turned out.

When we bought an older tri-level house in the heart of Glen Ellyn back in 2006, we knew from the start that the kitchen and dining area were in serious need of remodeling. Over the years, we had several designs drawn; however, all led to the conclusion that in order to do it right, we needed to go full-out open concept on our entire main floor, which meant literally renovating a complete third of our home.

In mid-2022, with designs in hand, we finally sought a contractor to take on the project. From the very start, it was clear that we would be in good hands with Brian Hanc and Elevations in Remodeling. Due to the extent of the project, we chose to relocate from our home during the first two months as Brian’s competent team went to work, gutting our main level from rafters to studs. Brian stayed in touch with us almost daily, reassuring us while presenting variables openly and clearly, providing optimistic guidance each step of the way. We could not have been happier with our choice to use Elevations for our first ever remodel project! As you can see from our before-after pictures, our kitchen renovations were extensive, and were all performed with excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The company owner, Brian, was involved and very responsive from the initial consultation to project completion. He kept us informed of timeline, any issues that arose, and consulted us for design details we may not have thought of. Most of our change requests during the project were accommodated at low to no cost. Marcin, the primary job rep, and all other contractors were professional and friendly.

Our project was completed on time and right on budget! Prices were fair and more competitive than what some of the larger firms were offering. I would happily use Elevations again for any home remodel projects or general contractor needs!

It has been a great experience working with Brian and his crew. In spite of the challenge in supply chain issues, missing, damaged kitchen parts (caused by vendor), they overcame the obstacles and been able to complete it beautifully. All the headaches, time, money spent, was worth it at the end. We were very lucky to have Brian and his crew in this very demanding project.

Elevations in Remodeling is the right place!

I got Brian's info from the tile shop where we bought our tile. From the get-go, Brian was incredibly professional and showed a presentation of his work and values. He regularly checks on this crew and they all deliver top notch quality work. I had the pleasure of working with Marcin who is a master carpenter, has great communication, and maintains a high standard of work. Additionally, I got to work with David, one of the tile guys, and he was super efficient and masterfully installed an intricate chevron patterned backsplash in two days flat. Lastly, we had the pleasure of working with Rene who is one of the painters. Rene is like all of the others - they're just on it. I have worked with several General Contractors before and Elevations in Remodeling led by Brian is just a notch above the rest. I would highly recommend and I would 100% use them for any future jobs we have on our house. You will not be disappointed.

We're pretty convinced there is nothing this team can’t handle. Elevations in Remodeling is hands-down one of the best contractors we’ve worked with. We bought a home that had fire damage to the roof, attic and several rooms. Brian’s team removed the roof on a third of the structure, rebuilt the dormers, roof and re-framed all of the fire damaged areas.

Each day, after the crew left, Brian sent a recap of what had been completed and what was still outstanding. This level of detail is so important because it ensures that we are both in agreement each step of the way. Few contractors take the time to do this. They completed the work on time and on budget and the city inspection was approved with no changes.

We will continue to use this outstanding company on future projects. You should too!

We purchased a 1915 Dutch colonial that needed major improvements. Brian Hanc from Elevations in Remodeling provided a competitive quote and was available to start the day after we closed. They provided feedback on every step, explained anything that came up unexpectedly and answered all questions honestly and thoroughly. We knew everything that was happening and why. We were able to live in the house for almost the entire project which saved us money. Brian would move different aspects of the work around to accommodate our needs. We also received compliments from our new neighbors, saying it was amazing to see work being done daily, even on Saturdays. Also they kept the noise level down, the big trash bin out of the way and never blocked the street. When we are ready to remodel our kitchen we will not look anywhere but to Elevations by Design. They are highly recommended for their prices, amazing quality work, and very timely responses and quick completion of the job. My high expectations were exceeded and we are so happy to have had them renovate our home.
